Live life with a ClearView

ClearView 3 has been designed with increased precision, accuracy, and stability in mind, resulting in excellent long-term visual outcomes across the full range of vision.

Featuring a +3 D Add segment which provides consistent near vision, without compromising intermediate and distance vision.

A combination of unparalleled precision in manufacturing, the tightest tolerances in the industry, and greater diopter choice means that the ClearView 3 significantly increases the consistency of patients’ post-op refractive outcomes, providing surgeon confidence when recommending to patients.

Multicenter studies have produced outstanding results while reporting fewer visual disturbances than other multifocal IOLs. Patient feedback has also been excellent regarding color recognition and contrast sensitivity, making patient selection less restrictive and results more consistent.

Lens Accuracy

What makes Lenstec IOLs more accurate than its competitors?

As a clinician, are you aware that ISO industry standards for quality assurance allow for a differential in actual intraocular lens power versus the box labeled power? This is often referred to as lens tolerance or variance.

All IOL companies manufacture to this ISO standard, which may be as much as +/-0.4 D  in the midrange and as much as +/-1.0 D in the higher power range. Lenstec’s superior manufacturing processes, which exceed the ISO industry standards for lens power tolerance relative to actual lens power,  allows for a variance of just +/-0.11 D per IOL! Lenstec manufactures IOLs with the aim of being the most accurate lenses globally.

To achieve excellent patient outcomes, this unique technology is combined with smaller diopter increments of 0.25 D^ rather than the standard 0.5 D increments. This change provides clinicians with the greatest predictability for achieving closer-to-intended target refraction for patients, with no change to surgical technique or pre/post-operative work or patient care.

Clinical Data

The ClearView 3 Multifocal IOL has been designed with increased precision, accuracy, and stability in mind, resulting in excellent long-term visual outcomes across the full range of vision.

The following data is comprised of over 600 eyes (300 patients) implanted with ClearView 3 IOLs at 1-year post-op, compared to over 300 eyes (150 patients) implanted with a control lens (which is an FDA approved monofocal IOL).
